Company Profile

Formed in 1994, UNI-TECH is an organization established to do research and implementation on Networking Hardware and Software Design, Configuration, and Maintenance. Was profounded by two senior networking specialists based in the Philippines and serving the offices of US and European companies.

Advancements in technology provided us the vision to design, implement and maintain a cost efficient network that meets specifications without diverting from the standards.�

The company's focus is almost exclusively networking related. We concentrate on the Implementation of Novell, Unix and Windows NT based Servers and Clients for Intranet and Internet connectivity. Specialized also� in the planning, development, implementation and support of networks to both local and international companies. The two senior members of the company both come from networking related consulting houses and between them have performed more than 50 Windows NT, Linux� & Novell Network installations all on different organizations all over the Philippines. Additionally, UNI-TECH can provide consulting services to assist clients in need of specialized services such as CISCO router configuration,� mass archiving solutions, server recovery, online real-time support, hardware and software upgrade recommendations and internet and web page implementation.

We are currently engaged in the maintenance of the largest Internet Service Provider in the World. Providing 24 hours support everyday of the year. Running the Locally based Data Center, we maintain close to 500 workstations running on a Windows 95 platform under a Novell Tree of a Corporate WAN. We are currently using a heterogenous network using 3 HP Netserver Pro's on a Novell 4.11 environment which attached to the more or less 300 NDS servers of the corporate WAN. We provide IP addresses to our workstations using a Windows NT4 Server running DHCP service. Eventually all these has to connect to our Cisco 7500 Router to go out to the Internet via 3 E1 connections.

Our basic philosophy is to understand and solve users problems first. We are not captive to rigid products and methodologies. We start with an intensive analysis of your needs, followed by design of your network, customization and implementation, then training, and finally ongoing support. And we understand that as your business evolves, the demands on your network system also change. We always recommend full documentation of every component related to the Network thereby allowing easy maintenance by the client.
